General
- How much work is required to manage a bookmaking business?
The BETTING's platform is fully automated and does not require any additional maintenance. To monitor any unexpected behavior (such as errors in the feed), we've built a custom SMS/email alarm so you are the first to know if there is ever a problem. In these rare cases, we're here to help you - 24/7 - to fix the issue.
- How easy is it to get my bookmaking site up and running? How much time would it take?
As soon as we sign the contract with you, your BETTING's platform is installed by our engineers within 2-3 business days. This full-cycle installation includes a thorough security check, configuration of all feeds and payment plug-ins, a loading test and a manual crosscheck of all your features to ensure that you've gotten what you've paid for. Then you're ready to go!
- Are there any commercial bookmaking sites that are using the BETTING's platform for their business?

- How much would I earn using BETTING's?
This depends on several factors, including which BETTING's operating mode you choose. Profits from betting operations with proper risk management could be as much as 90% from all deposits.
We advise our customers on how to use the Interexchange module to secure ongoing risks and grow a customer base. The basic strategy is to identify the players who mostly lose (no need to take any actions) and those who mostly win (define limits and trace their activity).
The risk module estimation is between 10-40% from all player deposits. Once you know your local risks, the counter-betting module can be partly or fully disabled to increase the possibility of over 60-80% from all deposits (based on BETTING's stabilized customers' average).
- Is BETTING's software secure?
Yes. We understand that the security of our customers is one of the cornerstones of our business model. The more secure and stable the application, the better the relationship with our customers.
The protocol we follow while working on the code includes: validating all input; guarding the file system, database and session data; verifying forum posts; protecting against Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities and Cross-Site Request Forgeries (CSRF).
The security of the server is also a priority. When we start working, our first task is to secure the hosting space where the software will be housed. We not only install / update your server software and configure a firewall, but we also implement a set of custom-made modules and tools to protect against Internet attacks.
But, we don't stop there. We work continuously on our software and release security updates every month; in critical cases, we implement same-day solutions when any vulnerability is detected.
- Are you the developers of BETTING's software?
Yes. We developed BETTING's platform in our lab in Fribourg, Switzerland. We don't cut corners, we don't outsource, and we don't give excuses. We know our software and work on it from the ground up.
- What technology did you use to create BETTING's?
The software is written on PHP / MySQL and optimized for a *NIX environment.
- Did you do any loading tests? How many bets per second can the BETTING's platform could handle? What server hardware do I need?
In a single-server environment (Core 2 Quad 3.0 GHz, 6 GB RAM), the BETTING's software handles 6,000 bets per minute, or 100 bets per second.A cluster environment allows scaling the BETTING's platform to any size under the formula (X MySQL Servers ' 1)*6,000.
Example:
You have a cluster of 2 Web and 3 MySQL servers. The loading you would be able to handle with the given hardware is 1,200 bets per minute or 200 bets per second:
(3 MySQL Servers - 1) * 6000 = 1,200
For every 3 MySQL servers, you need 2 Web servers.
- Do I need a gaming license to operate a bookmaker business?
Most jurisdictions require a gaming license. The easiest and the most cost-effective way is to obtain a Costa Rica Data Processing License, which lets a company accept bets online.
- In which countries does the BETTING's platform operate in accordance with the standards of local licensing gambling authorities?
Software is not limited to a specific jurisdiction and maybe operated in any country. However, most bookmakers do not accept stakes from the U.S. and Turkey, where online gambling is illegal. However, we do have customers from these two countries that use our Price Per Head edition.
- Do users need to download and install the BETTING's application on their computers to use the platform?
The application is fully web-based. Your players don't need to install anything to use your site, and you don't need to download anything to manage it.
- How big is your office?
We have over 15 full-time employees. We are located in Fribourg, in the middle of Switzerland, right on the border of French- and German-speaking parts. We're about 33km from Bern, Switzerland.

- What technical support do you provide with the BETTING's platform?
Our default technical support package covers:
- Initial server configuration and security fix
- Resolution of all software problems and bug fixes
- Regular and issue-specific software updates
- Training and 24/7 assistance
- After the first year, what support does BETTING's provide?
Support after the first year is fee-based. Please contact our sales team for our rates. However, we always provide updates for critical problems and bugs free of charge.
- Do you offer support to my end-users?
No, we do not provide support for your players.
- Can you help me with promotion and advertising?
No, we do not provide assistance in promotion and advertising.
- Do you have web-hosting services?
Currently, we only provide server administration support. However, we are able to recommend hosting customers that work with the gaming industry. Please contact us for more information.
License and Order
- What type of license do you offer?
We provide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable license, with the right to use, create derivative works of, commercialize, display and perform submissions within the Platform, including in the site source code, graphic design and content.
- Do you have any leasing options?
Yes, we have a lease-to-own option. Please contact us for more information.
- What payment options do you offer for the purchase of the BETTING's software?
Currently we only accept payment by bank transfer.
- Do you provide a trial version?
We do not provide a server-installed trial version. But, feel free to test our demos. These are fully functional releases with all features (payment processing and event extraction modules are turned off for security reasons).

Customization and Branding
- What is included in your customization package?
We create a brand new theme that answers your requirements. You are free with all ideas and the number of revisions in not limited. In total we design and integrate more than 30 pages that are further sliced and integrated. We work closely together with you to make your bookmaker business attractive to the target audience. - How much time do you need to create a new theme?
On average, it takes two weeks to redesign templates and two weeks to create a new theme. The design phase may take longer depending on the number of revisions you may have.
- How do you work on a customized design?
There are three people involved - a designer, a coder and a developer. The steps are pretty straight forward:
a) You provide a few links to other betting sites that you like
b) Based on your ideas, we create a brand-new concept
c) We work with you on revising the concept until it meets your concept
d) Upon approval, we create all the inside pages
- Will there be any BETTING's branding after purchase?
We leave this choice up to our customers. You are free to customize your release as you wish, though you may consider referring customers to BETTING's to receive a commission on sales. For more information, please contact us contact us.
- Do you develop custom modules or change the existing code on request? Is it possible to integrate third-party software, such as Crystal Reports?
Yes, we do. Please contact our sales team and describe your requirements so we can provide an accurate quote.
- Is it possible to integrate Casino and Poker Room with the BETTING's platform?
Yes. Integration with other applications is completely possible. We already have plug-ins for a number of existing gaming operators.

- Do you have risk management?

- Does the BETTING's system support live betting?
Yes, we support live betting.
- How fast are events data and odds extracted from the feed?
You can define the interval of each loop. Depending on the type of the feed each cycle takes less a few milliseconds.
We also support push/pull technology, where odds are delivered in the order they appear in the feed.
- What sports and wagers do you support?
We support all sports and all wagers.
- What odds format does your platform support?
Currently we support European, American, Malay and Hong-Kong odds formats.
- Do you have a module for betting on financial events?
Yes, financial betting is available with both Sportsbook and Betting Exchange editions.
- Is your system multi-lingual? What languages do you support?
Yes, we support all languages. Currently by default we supply only the English version. Other translations are added via language files.
- How many currencies do you support?
We support all currencies. You can manage currency using the administrator Control Panel.
- What payment processors are integrated into your platform?
Currently by have the following payment plug-ins: PayPal, MoneyBookers, Neteller, PaySafeCard, Webmoney, SMS and bank transfer. Integration with other processors is available at no additional cost.
- Can I define deposit and withdrawal limits?
Yes, of course! You can define a number of different limits. For more information, please refer to our features list.
- What browsers are supported?
We support Firefox 2/3, Internet Explorer 7/8, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari.
